Research

Carlo Lucheroni is currently working on energy finance, especially forecasting of financial market related series and portfolio theory, and on environmental mathematics, especially forecasting of wind phenomena. He is an expert of dynamical systems theory (deterministic and stochastic), econometrics, machine learning including artificial intelligence aspects of machine learning.

He has good knowledge of quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, condensed matter physics, computing embedded systems (hardware included), and cognitive science.

He collaborates with the Siena Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAILab) in Siena on fundamental and applied reasearch on recurrent neural networks and control theory.
